Event report: online Open doors day of Bachelor's programme "Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication" for foreign applicants

On January 20, bachelor's programme "Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication" held its open day specifically for foreign prospective students. The open day was held digitally via online platform "Webinar". The event was in English.

FLaIC has been successful in organizing events for foreign applicants. Online format allows prospective students from different countries to attend the open day, to get information about the programme, and to ask any questions they may have. This time, the event was attended by prospective students from such countries as Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Moldova, Afghanistan.

In the beginning, a programme academic supervisor Svetlana Bogolepova talked about academic opportunities the programme provides. She talked about language teaching principles, tracks, and academic mobility. After that, the manager of the FLaIC programme Ksenia Chermoshentseva talked about work placement and extracurricular opportunities available within the programme.

The guests were asking a lot of questions about the programme, admissions, and educational process. A representative of the Centre for International Student Recruitment Sveltana Vasilenko helped in answering those questions.
