HSE Independent English Exam

The Independent English Language Exam is a mandatory assessment of English proficiency for all undergraduate and specialist students.

The main examination period runs from Module 4 of the 2nd year through Module 3 of the 3rd year of studies. Students also have the option to take the exam earlier — in their 1st year or during Modules 1–3 of their 2nd year.

*Please note: If you choose to take the exam before the main period, we recommend consulting with your English teacher first.
