"Partner Teacher" Project
The project aims to develop cooperation between HSE School of Foreign Languages with teachers and students from various regions of the Russian Federation.

Project Goals:
– create conditions for the professional development of teachers participating in the project;
– provide methodological, informational and organisational support for the participants;
– provide educational and career guidance for schoolchildren by improving the communication skills in foreign language classes. -
Opportunities for language teachers participating in the project:
– participation in workshops, internships, major international forums and conferences organised by SOFL;
– participation as a jury and expert commission member of competitions organised by SOFL and its partners;
– free-of-charge training (on a competitive selection campaign basis) in advanced training courses for teachers from HSE partner schools organised by the Regional Partnerships Centre;
– free-of-charge training (on a competitive selection campaign basis) in one of the advanced training courses organised by the Centre for Language Learning and Teaching Methodology (only for project participants with the status of ‘SOFL Partner Teacher’);
– participation of school students in SOFL offline and online events (on a competitive selection campaign basis within the annual quota provided by SOFL), as well as online workshops within the framework of the project;
– access to SOFL teaching materials and information about events scheduled for teachers and school students by SOFL. -
The project provides opportunities to:
improve the professional competencies of foreign language teachers
develop the skills for the efficient training of school students for examinations and olympiads in foreign languages
expand teachers' knowledge of the cultural and historical background of the English-speaking countries, and their understanding of the specifics of modern English
develop teaching skills related to digital tools and artificial intelligence in foreign language teaching
ensure the motivation and engagement of their students in foreign language classes, and develop their intellectual and creative potential
train school students for successful admission to educational programmes related to linguistics, foreign languages, and intercultural communication
